    TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
    • The rental agent agrees to grant the car to the renter whose name and signature are in the front page under the terms described below:
    • The renter is responsible for violations of traffic laws and is required to pay the price of the fines committed during the rental, even if the above amounts are due or demanded after the rental period expires.
    • The renter confirms the good condition of the car upon delivery.
    • The renter agrees to return the car at the same good condition with all tyres, tools and accessories at the date agreed by both parties. If the renter keeps the car longer than 24 hours, he will be overcharged with the whole rent of the following day.
    • No other person is allowed to make use of the car except the renter, who when driving, should not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
      If the driver is under is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and there is damage to third parties or the vehicle the renter is solely liable.
    • The renter agrees to conform to traffic rules and should not use the vehicle :
      a) In violation of present agreement,
      b) To transport passengers or objects for monetary reward,
      c) To transport heavy objects or foul smell materials or drugs,
      d) To tow other vehicles or trailers,
      e) In racing contests, speed trials, off-road trails, etc.,
      f) Use by any other person without approval from Car Rental Agency,
      g) In general for any purpose contrary to Greek Laws,
      h) On rough ground or sandy areas or on any other area which may damage the car or is forbidden by the traffic Authorities.
    • In case of damage or accident the renter agrees to immobilise the car and inform the owner. If the renter is responsible for the damage, he is obliged to pay the whole amount of money for the delay of the car until it gets ready to be hired again.
    • The renter declaires unreservedly that he can pay whatever debt to the office.
    • The renter is notified that the car is insured for
      500,000 euros for causing personal injuries to third parties,
      100,000 euros for material damages.
      However, the renter is not covered for the following case :
      If the car has been involved in an accident while driven by a person other than the renter or driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
    • The number of the passengers should not be exceed the number which the car’s registration indicates.
      A fine will be imposed on the transgressors, 650 euros for suspension and engine damages and wear.
    • Any misunderstanding or disagreement between the Car Rental Office and the renter will be under the jurisdiction of the Greek Legal Authorities.
    • The driver must be older than 23 years old and he should have had a valid driving licence for at least one year.
    • In the case of damage and the renter has mixed insurance, he is obliged to pay the first 500 euros for the car’s damage.
    • It is forbidden to transport or ferry the rental car outside Andros Island.
    • The renter has an obligation to pay for the fuel during the rental and to return the car with the same amount of fuel as he received it.
      The Car Rental Office has no obligation to pay for the above quantity
      of fuel in the car.
